CMM-V

Bringing Vision to your CMM

CMM-V is a Camera for use on a CMM.  The integral segmented LED illumination and the 2D light sensitive CCD allow an area of the measured component to be illuminated and viewed.  Software control of the illumination allows the user to optimize the image for each measurement.

The whole Field of View (FOV) of 6mm x 4.5mm or specific Regions of Interest (ROI) within the FOV can be used to select one or more features for measurement (e.g. Hole Diameters, Edge Positions).  The CMM-V is TESASTAR-M motorized head and change rack compatible, as well as Renishaw auto-joint compatible for the Renishaw PH10 head and ACR-3 storage racks so your CMM can run automatically with application programs in which both contact and non-contact sensing are employed.  PC-DMIS software allows seamless interchange between vision and tacticle sensor types. 

 CMM-V is compatible with Pioneer Plus and Discovery III CMMs

CMM-V applications include:

• Measurement of small features (e.g. holes) which are difficult to access with contact probes.
• Measurement of soft or easily deformed components.
• Measurement of printed or deposited patterns.
• Measurement of printed circuit boards.

CMM-V System features:

• Auto change between the CMM-V and other traditional CMM Sensors.
• All CMM-V cameras are available in versions compatible with the TESASTAR-m and the Renishaw PH10.
• CMM-V systems have integral software-controlled illumination.
• All CMM-V cameras can be used the with TESASTAR-r or Renishaw ACR-3 auto change racks.
• CMM-V provides vision measurement capabilities for large components.
